Case study: A live event tour
A 12-venue tour with every ticket click tracked by city
A tour sold tickets through 12 separate venue ticketing systems. We built the tracking foundation, tagged every venue and source, ran city-level campaigns, and reported weekly by city.
28x
Site visitors against the prior 28 days, for an event page almost no one had heard of. Daily visitors went from near zero to more than 2,500 within days.
0 to 400+
Ticket checkouts started per day at peak, tracked by ad and city.
8x
Click-through rate, 15.58% against the 1.93% Meta traffic-campaign average (WordStream, 2026).
Benchmark source, WordStream, 2026. Client confidential.
The problem
Tickets for the tour sold through 12 separate venue ticketing systems. Each venue and each traffic source needed its own tracking, so results could be read by ad and by city.
What we built
- The Meta business foundation, with the domain verified and the tracking pixel installed.
- One branded shortlink for every venue and source, so each click is attributable.
- A rebuilt dates section with tracked ticket buttons and dates that expire on their own.
- Five city ad sets and a nationwide ad.
- A weekly report by city.
What changed
Visitors rose 28x against the prior 28 days, from near zero to more than 2,500 a day within days. Ticket checkouts started reached more than 400 per day at peak, and each one was tracked by ad and city. The click-through rate was 15.58%, about eight times the 1.93% Meta traffic-campaign average (WordStream, 2026).
